A Rich Inheritance, Yet Incomplete Obedience
Joshua 15:20–63

Scripture Reflection
God granted the tribe of Judah a rich and generous inheritance.
Yet their obedience was not fully complete.
In the same way, we too have received abundant grace from God.
Still, there may remain small pockets of disobedience—
areas where weakness is exposed and surrender is unfinished.
Rather than condemning us,
God gently calls us back.
He invites us to walk with Him patiently,
one faithful step at a time.
Today, may we take one obedient step
in the place God has entrusted to us.
Unfinished Obedience in Our Lives
Incomplete obedience often hides in subtle places:
- Delayed decisions we keep postponing
- Areas we know God has spoken about, but have not acted on
- Habits we justify rather than surrender
- Fear that prevents full trust
These areas do not cancel God’s grace,
but they limit the fullness of the inheritance He desires to give.
A Simple Path to Growth Today
Let us reflect and grow by taking these small but faithful steps:
- Honestly confess my current spiritual condition to God.
- Choose one delayed act of obedience and do it today.
- Select one Bible verse and meditate on it throughout the day.
Small obedience, offered sincerely,
opens the door to deeper fellowship with God.
Prayer
Lord,
I confess the places in my heart where my obedience is incomplete.
Give me the strength to obey You, even in the small and hidden things.
Let today be a day of walking closely with You.
Thank You for the precious gift of this new day.
May every joy and hardship I encounter
become a way to hear Your voice
and guide me onto the path of truth and life.
Amen.
